
Stephen has had extensive experience as a senior
chef at the highest level, including four years
as a Chef de Partie at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons.
He also worked at Babington House, Bath; Zafferano,
Knightsbridge; Mallory Court, Warwickshire and
George Blanc in Burgundy after training at the
Box Tree, Yorkshire. Keen to broaden his knowledge further, he also gained experience in Thai cuisine at Nahm, London; in Japanese cuisine at Nobu, London and at several restaurants of note in the USA.
He has appeared on TV in Ready, Steady Cook and
Total Fishing.
Steve and Joanna have two children, Oliver aged six and Emily aged three. Steve likes nothing better than going out with them at 6am on a Sunday morning to search the local car boot sales for vintage kitchenalia and old cookery books.
